This year’s Chain Reaction Challenge event concludes with Melbourne Riders surpassing their target sum raised
The full roster of Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation charity fundraising rides for this year has been completed, with Melbourne riders finishing their 7-day ride around Southeast. The 52 riders, who covered 1,000km over some of the most scenic and occasionally challenging parts of the hinterland and coast, raised $1.4 million – well above the target of $1 million. The Melbourne ride this year is in support of the Monash Children’s Hospital and the Starlight Children’s Foundation Australia The total raised by the charity since 2007 now exceeds $43.5 million for the aid of various children’s charities in Australia.
