For the past four years, Australia’s leading Mercedes-Benz retail group has been strongly represented at the nation’s most prestigious gathering of business leaders, the AFR Business Summit.

As a major supporter of the annual event that sees participants and political and business guest speakers discuss and debate the key economic and policy issues of the day, LSH Auto Australia continues to play an important role as a business community member.

The recent Business Summit was held over 11 and 12 March at Hilton Sydney.

Key topics such as the impact of AI, energy security, the drive for greater productivity, the push for de-carbonisation and the constantly changing geo-political environment were discussed.

Insights were generously shared by Federal Treasurer, Dr Jim Chalmers, Leader of The Opposition, Peter Dutton, Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong, Chairman and CEO of JP Morgan Chase Jamie Dimon, and the heads of The Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Google Australia.

The LSH Auto Australia team took a moment, during one to the summit’s breaks, to connect with Australian Financial Review Editor-in-Chief, Michael Stuchbury, who thanked LSH Auto for its ongoing support.

John Good, Managing Director of LSH Auto Australia, was also asked to contribute a thought leadership piece pertaining to the auto industry in the lead up to the Business Summit.
