LSH Auto Australia celebrates John Astin for his 45 years of service
Meet John Astin. He started in 1978 as an Apprentice Technician with the then Aust-Star Motors. Within a decade, the business had become Mercedes-Benz Brisbane and John, a Qualified Technician. He then progressed through service roles to Workshop Foreman and Workshop Controller, before moving into service administration as a Costing Clerk supporting the service business. John cites as highlights the vast number of different models he has worked on during his time, and the technological progress in recent years. He is proud to be now working for the nation’s leading Mercedes-Benz retail group, LSH Auto Australia. John’s long tenure is certainly worthy of recognition and is also a great inspiration to those joining the industry for a long and rewarding career – especially with LSH Auto Australia, recognised as one of the AFR Boss Best Places to Work.
