South Korea has seen an increasing demand for Maybach and Mercedes-Benz S-Class models.

Last year, sales of Mercedes-Maybach increased by 32% over the previous year with a total of 2,596 units sold, the second highest in the world.

Accounting for over 82% of Maybach models sold in the Seoul Metropolitan Area and over 50% in Seoul, Han Sung Motor recently announced the opening of the reborn Cheongdam Showroom – a dedicated centre for Maybach and S-Class models in the prime area of Gangnam.

Covering a total floor area of 4579 square metres across 2 floors, the renewed showroom is the first in the world to introduce the Mercedes-Maybach “Exclusive Lounge+” concept.

Exclusive Lounge+ is the result of extensive discussions with Mercedes-Benz AG in Germany and Mercedes-Benz Korea to provide customers with a next level customer purchasing experience.

The Cheongdam Showroom features the Mercedes-Maybach Exclusive Lounge+ on the second floor and the Mercedes-Benz Exclusive Lounge+ on the first floor, each floor designed to showcase its respective model lines.

Later this year, a “Manufaktur” space will open on the second floor’s Mercedes-Maybach Exclusive Lounge+ – a special area where customers can customize their Mercedes-Maybach vehicles.
