LSH Auto Australia recently congratulated a special member of Mercedes-Benz Melbourne for an extraordinary achievement.

Gary Pole celebrated his 50 years of service at the dealership – an accomplishment that speaks of his commitment and dedication to a career he began as a teenager.

Gary started his career as an automotive apprentice in 1973. He then graduated to the role of automotive technician, responsible for performing advanced repairs on vehicles and disassembling for panel repair. He was also responsible for ensuring that all repairs were performed to factory standards.

In recent years, Gary has taken on the role of Yard Hand where he is responsible for ensuring a professional brand and image through the effective management of the dealership facility.

Gary’s dedication to his work, over the past 50 years, has contributed to the success of the dealership.

Little wonder then that he is often regarded as the ‘father’ of Mercedes-Benz Melbourne.

LSH Auto Australia and Mercedes-Benz Melbourne recently held a special dinner in Gary’s honour, during which Managing Director, John Good, and Melbourne Dealer Principal, Vaughan Blackman, presented him with a special certificate to mark his remarkable achievement.
