LSH Auto Australia has partnered with an outstanding new program dedicated to bringing medical care to those experiencing homelessness.

Street Side Medics, founded by Sydney based Doctor Daniel Nour in 2020, has been delivering medical care to the often forgotten group of the population.

Using a specially fitted out Mercedes-Benz van as a mobile medical facility, Dr. Nour and his team of volunteers have made this possible.

Clinic sessions are held in a variety of locations across New South Wales to provide medical examinations and investigations including specialty imaging and pathology. Treatments, immunisations and management of medical conditions are also offered. Minor surgical procedures are also part of the mobile service.

The Street Side Medics’ outreach to the homeless has proven to be in high demand and has also garnered the support of a range of medical industry and broader corporate partners.

LSH Auto Australia Managing Director, John Good, lauded the work of Dr. Nour and his team, “What Street Side Medics have done is inspirational. To not look the other way and to deliver such critical medical support is the sort of community commitment that all in the corporate world should be looking to support and encourage.”

As the organisation looks to expand its services, LSH Auto Australia has become a major partner and will provide Street Side Medics with the van for a second mobile clinic.

The partnership was announced at an official launch of the Street Side Medics program, held at LSH Auto’s Mercedes-Benz Sydney dealership and attended by NSW Minister of Health, Brad Hazzard, at which the Minister congratulated Dr Nour and the Street Side Medics team and committed funding for the program from the State Government.
