STERNAUTO partners ÜBERSTUNDE for afterwork event at The Monument to the Battle of the Nations in Leipzig.
Throwback to 1913? An ÜBERSTUNDE afterwork event was held at The Monument to the Battle of the Nations recently. The monument, completed in 1913, commemorates the 1813 Battle of Leipzig, also known as the Battle of the Nations. Today, it is maintained mostly through donation drives by a Leipzig support group (Förderverein Völkerschlachtdenkmal e.V.) with some 300 members comprising companies, institutions and associations, and members of the public. To help raise funds for the support group, ÜBERSTUNDE, a community-based afterwork networking project, held an event at the grounds of The Monument to the Battle of the Nations. STERNAUTO, a mobility partner of ÜBERSTUNDE, helped to safely transport event equipment to the site, as well as the use of a BYD HAN to underline the importance of sustainability and preservation. The Monument to the Battle of the Nations event was a great success and provided a unique and contemplative environment for members of ÜBERSTUNDE.
